Branch Dates
Branch dates are Deglet Nour still attached to their stem. Nothing is detached, nothing is rehydrated: the fruit keeps the moisture, the shine and the aroma it had on the palm.
Bunches are cut at the right stage of ripeness, sorted by hand and graded. It is the presentation Tunisians buy for their own table — and the one that travels best as a premium line.
Why choose Azzed branch dates?
- Carefully selected fruit: branch dates are cut from well-formed Deglet Nour bunches, chosen for their flavour, their soft texture and their translucent colour.
- Sorted by hand: every bunch is checked and trimmed by hand, so that only ripe, sound fruit goes into the carton.
- Freshness kept: the fruit stays on its stem, so it keeps its moisture, its shine and its aroma longer than loose dates.
- One supplier, several lines: branch dates sit alongside standard Deglet Nour and Arjoun (the whole date bunch) — a single contact for a mixed order.
- Direct contact: you deal with the brand itself. Samples, grades and pack sizes are discussed with the people who pack your order.
- Sized for small and mid-sized buyers: we deliberately work with importers, distributors and retailers we can serve properly, order after order.
- From the oases of southern Tunisia: the dates come from the palm groves around Douz and are packed in Tunisia.
Deglet Nour on the branch
Fruit left on the stem shows its condition — nothing can be hidden — and it is bruised far less in transit than loose fruit. On a shelf, on a buffet or in a gift box, it needs no extra packaging to look like what it is.
Cartons for distribution, gift boxes for the festive seasons, bulk for processors: pack size, grade and carton marking are set with you. Tell us the grade, the pack, the volume and the destination, and we will send a quotation.
